Responsibilities
  • Drive execution of all health and safety-related performance programs in collaboration with safety deployment director(s) and key members of our country-based Responsible Sourcing and Manufacturing (RSM) teams globally
  • Develop training and educational tools to ensure the highest level of health and safety practice is maintained across Nike’s contract manufacturing value chain suppliers
  • Create improvements to existing tools and processes based on the team’s input and factory insights and perspective
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance framework, including the Social Labor Compliance Program (SLCP), Culture of Safety Maturity Assessment (CoSMA), injury/illness metrics, and factory self-reported operational safety key performance indicators
  • Benchmark factories’ 'Culture of Safety' data against world-class manufacturing companies outside of the footwear/apparel industry and set realistic performance targets for our suppliers
  • Develop fact-based health and safety decisions informed by collective expertise, strategic business priorities, partner input, and most importantly data driven metrics
