Requirements
  • Preferred ARDMS, CCI certification, or a global equivalent.
  • Experience in echocardiography, including all clinical applications and performing procedures.
  • At least five years of experience in the medical industry.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Customer contact experience in various situations.
  • Must live within the territory covering Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, Alaska, Hawaii, and Idaho.
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must complete a drug screen, as applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a clinical expert within the ultrasound imaging space using a consultative sales approach to develop departmental partnerships with decision makers and collaborate with GE Healthcare counterparts.
  • Provide industry-leading support for the development of ultrasound-enhancing agents in echocardiography exams.
  • Deliver in-service education presentations to customers in large and small group settings.
  • Provide product demonstrations to customers.
  • Create business plans for the territory, including opportunity development and competitive strategies.
  • Develop and foster a network of thought leaders within the territory, track and communicate market trends to and from the field, and lead effective counterstrategies based on competitor data.
  • Integrate with internal support teams and drive meaningful change and impact in customer departments for each patient.
  • Provide clinical support for the development of ultrasound-enhancing agents.
  • Assist with trials, implementation, training, and echocardiography ultrasound-enhancing agents.
  • Differentiate the assigned product offering during various stages of the sales process using approved product marketing and promotion materials to support customer decision-making.
  • Demonstrate sales and presentation skills in one-on-one and formal large-group settings, both in person and virtually.
  • Represent and assist at local, regional, or national trade shows and meetings as required.

  • A bachelor's degree or five years of equivalent experience.
  • Ultrasound-enhancing agent application experience.
  • Living in Washington or Oregon.

GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging. It processes data volumes up to 50 times greater than conventional CT systems, utilising Nvidia's accelerated computing platform. Clinical collaborations are underway at UZ Brussel in Belgium and Rigshospitalet in Denmark to evaluate the system across cardiology, neurology, oncology and musculoskeletal imaging. The CE mark follows more than $5 billion in innovation investment by GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare launches three new Vivid cardiovascular ultrasound systems for diverse care settings

GE HealthCare has introduced three new cardiovascular ultrasound systems to its Vivid portfolio: Vivid Explorer 1, Vivid Advanced 1, and Vivid Focus 1. The systems were unveiled at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026 in Munich, Germany. Each system targets different clinical settings whilst sharing a common technology foundation with the ultra-premium Vivid Pioneer. Vivid Explorer is designed for high-volume echo labs, Vivid Advanced for mid-size hospitals and cardiology practices, and Vivid Focus for everyday cardiac imaging. All three systems use cSound imaging technology and include AI-enabled automation tools to streamline echo workflows. GE HealthCare has launched Invenia ABUS Prime and ABUS StreamVue, expanding its breast imaging portfolio with solutions for supplemental screening in women with dense breasts.
