About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in machine building, mechanical assembly, or equipment installation is required.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, fixtures, or basic wiring is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics and follow build instructions is required.
- Ability to obtain Hi-Lo, Aerial Platform, and Overhead Crane licenses while employed is required.
- Ability to provide basic hand tools is required.
- Ability to work while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds is required.
- Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally may be required.
- Assemble automated machinery and equipment by following drawings and schematics.
- Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical installations.
- Use hand and power tools for assembly and installation.
- Align machines and install components.
- Troubleshoot machine and equipment issues.
- Trade or vocational training is strongly preferred.
