About the job
- A degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in quality within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of quality tools including QRQC, 8D, PDCA, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, PFMEA, and Control Plan.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Experience using measuring instruments and validating process parameters.
- Knowledge of defect analysis, nonconformities, and corrective-action follow-up.
- Experience releasing workstations, equipment, and processes.
- Knowledge of statistical process control and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality systems.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Ensure product and process conformity in the cutting and WPA areas, meeting quality standards and customer requirements.
- Validate samples and process parameters, release workstations, follow up on nonconformities, and address internal and external defects.
- Analyze and follow up on supplier failures, participate in QRQC and continuous-improvement activities, supervise defective products and rework, and verify equipment, documentation, and operating conditions in the area.
- Stop production or shipments when quality risks or nonconforming products are identified.
- Experience in cutting, crimping/WPA processes, or automotive harness manufacturing.
