About the Job

Requirements

  • A B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., or equivalent degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in complex engineering, product-development, new product introduction (NPI), program-management, or portfolio/program management office (PMO) roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, and collaboration/work-management platforms such as JIRA, JAMA, and Confluence.
  • Ability to lead global programs and portfolios, develop business cases, integrate plans, apply stage-gate product-development processes, and manage risks and issues.
  • Knowledge of PROLaunch, ProPM, decision-gate and portfolio-review governance; waterline and roadmap management; resource and capacity planning; financial and schedule analysis; portfolio analytics; executive dashboards; digital workflows; and automation.
  • Ability to influence without authority, communicate with executives, apply business acumen and analytical thinking, demonstrate ownership and accountability, resolve conflicts, make decisions, lead change, collaborate across cultures and geographies, and drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or more major strategic, repeater, regional, or global ESS programs from requirements definition and planning through development, validation, industrialization, and launch.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering scope, schedule, cost, resources, milestones, risks, dependencies, and launch readiness.
  • Lead global cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, operations, sourcing, quality, finance, commercial, and other functions, and drive accountability for commitments and deliverables.
  • Establish business-case baselines with key stakeholders, including benefits, cost, assumptions, risks and opportunities, milestones, and implementation scenarios, and clearly articulate financial and business impacts.
  • Lead program reviews, decision-gate preparation, and executive communication; escalate major constraints and decisions requiring leadership support.
  • Drive risk identification, mitigation, and recovery planning when performance deviates from the approved baseline.
  • Establish and maintain an integrated master view of the ESS program portfolio, including active and planned strategic, NPI, and NTI programs.
  • Coordinate ESS portfolio roadmaps, waterline health, prioritization, and the ESS-level ProPM data and portfolio-review rhythm.
  • Consolidate program information into leadership-ready views covering portfolio health, milestones, gates, investment, resource demand, risks, dependencies, and strategic exceptions.
  • Support fact-based start, stop, continue, and prioritization decisions; track leadership decisions and resulting actions.
  • Support ESS capacity-versus-demand governance, resource forecasting, forecast-versus-actual analysis, and identification of cross-program constraints.
  • Drive consistent use of standard program plans, schedules, risk-management methods, PROLaunch documentation, and executive dashboards.
  • Support deployment and adoption of ProPM, PROLaunch, CCPM, and PROLaunch Studio practices, as applicable.
  • Develop portfolio analytics and dashboards that improve visibility to schedule, gate performance, resources, risks, investment, launch readiness, and portfolio trends.
  • Automate repetitive program and portfolio reporting and develop practical digital and AI-enabled program-management use cases.
  • Capture lessons learned, share best practices, and lead continuous-improvement actions that improve execution predictability and reduce low-value administrative work.

Desired Qualifications

  • PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CCPM, or Agile/CSM certification is preferred.
