Requirements
  • Excellent C and C++ and Python programming skills in a Linux environment.
  • Experience writing and maintaining driver-level code for different types of sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces such as WiFi and Bluetooth, including early signal processing for these devices.
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed with an unfamiliar device by reading its specification, register map, and driver API, and integrating it into the product.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly put together a circuit to electrically interface different devices.
  • A strong academic and work record, such as a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with the stated experience, or commensurate work experience.
Responsibilities
  • Take broad ownership of the inner workings of the entire Dapster robotic system.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prototyping and soldering skills.
  • Experience as part of the development team for at least one full version of a shipping embedded device.

Dapster.ai develops mobile robots for warehouse case picking that can be deployed into existing facilities without building or layout changes. The robots navigate warehouses, pick cases, and assemble items into store-ready or aisle-ready sequences while preserving rainbow pallets.
