  • Ability to translate complex customer needs involving security and compliance, networking, topology, data, and operations into clear product requirements and high-leverage roadmaps.
  • Comfort partnering with engineering on deployment architecture, replication, storage systems, and operational tooling without needing to write production code.
  • Experience driving alignment across Engineering, Security, Support, Field or Resident Architects, Solutions, and Sales, and making durable decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong written communication skills to produce concise product requirements documents, decision documents, and customer-facing guidance.
  • A customer-first mindset and appreciation for documentation, upgrade paths, diagnostics, and operational clarity.

Responsibilities

  • Own supported self-hosted and hybrid deployment models, including clear positioning, lifecycle expectations, and customer outcomes.

  • Own multi-region and multi-cloud topology capabilities for self-hosted environments, including performance and resilience tradeoffs.
  • Partner with Resident Architects and self-hosted services teams to translate customer needs into roadmap, packaging, and repeatable deployment patterns.
  • Own Temporal Proxy as an end-to-end product, including its roadmap, packaging, customer deployment experience, and operability.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with regulated and controlled environments, such as FedRAMP-aligned and sovereign cloud constraints, and the operational realities of enterprise self-hosting.
  • Experience with hybrid architectures, migration programs, or long-lived interoperability across environments.
  • Experience with benchmarking and performance testing, and turning results into product improvements and guidance.
  • Understanding of multi-region replication patterns and failure modes in distributed systems.

About the Company

Temporal Technologies

Runs durable workflows for software applications

Temporal Technologies develops a workflow execution platform for software teams building applications that span services and run over long periods. Developers define business processes as code, separating coordination logic from tasks such as API calls, payment processing and data transfers. The platform persists execution state and coordinates retries after failures, helping applications resume work without teams writing their own recovery infrastructure. Temporal maintains an open-source engine and sells Temporal Cloud, its managed service, with charges for actions, stored workflow history and support. Founded in 2019, the company is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
