Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and coordinate construction, including quality control and safety.
Manage trade partners and consultants; inspect work and approve payment for acceptable work and materials.
Manage contract adherence and provide input on trade partner selection.
Manage personal safety and oversee UnionMain employees to ensure they work safely; evaluate safety violations and take appropriate action.
Manage work against benchmarks and timetables to ensure trade partners, employees, and vendors perform on schedule and on budget.
Plan and coordinate starts and modify schedules in response to field conditions to achieve company goals.
Manage the home-building process from permitting through home delivery and first-year warranty.
Implement UnionMain’s jobsite compliance programs and monitor trade partner compliance with scopes of work and applicable regulations, including building codes, environmental laws, SWIPP, and health and safety programs.
Act as UnionMain’s primary jobsite representative with trade partners, customers, government inspectors, and investigators.
Manage daily site logistics, including material-delivery timing and location, sequencing work, option installation, and verification that prior work is completed to required standards.
Communicate with sales, purchasing, homeowners, consultants, trades, building officials, and customer care to execute the homebuilding process.
Desired Qualifications
One to two years of relevant construction experience or relevant construction education.
One year of relevant construction experience or experience as an assistant Construction Manager.
Primary Role: Plans, supervises and coordinates construction including quality control and safety.

Acts as UnionMain’s primary representative on the Jobsite with third parties such as trade partners, customers and government inspectors and investigators.
Manages daily logistics of the site to ensure various contractors work harmoniously; stages the job by determining the timing and location of material deliveries, sequencing of work and option installation, and verifying prior work is completed to SP’s high standards prior to following up on work.
Communicates with sales, purchasing, homeowners, consultants, trades, building officials, and customer care to successfully execute the homebuilding process.

Tolerance of moderate to very loud noise. Environmental conditions vary depending on weather, stage of production, and where work takes place. Some of the following conditions apply at various times, hot, cold, wet, dry, muddy, humid, windy, calm, bright, dark, noisy, dusty, poor lighting, poor ventilation, temperature variations, fog, and rain. Airborne particles such as wood dust, drywall dust, etc. are common in the field environment.
