Requirements
  • Experience in a naval or offshore environment involving steel, welding, painting, or piping.
  • Good knowledge of naval production techniques.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • English proficiency at level B1/B2.
Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections and checks of welding, painting, steel structures, and piping work.
  • Verify that work complies with plans and technical requirements.
  • Monitor work progress directly on site and aboard vessels.
  • Identify, analyze, and report non-conformities.
  • Participate in inspections with classification societies when necessary.
  • Monitor the quality of internal and subcontracted interventions.
  • Participate in collecting and verifying traceability information.
  • Contribute to creating project quality files.
  • Ensure reliable transmission of field information to the quality department.
  • Apply established quality procedures on site.
  • Participate in managing non-conformities and monitoring corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through field feedback.
  • Occasionally participate in updating operating procedures and processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of maritime standards and classification.
  • Experience in field quality control.
  • COFREND level 1 or higher.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems.
