Sebamed partners with WPP Media for ChatGPT advertising activation.

Sebamed partners with WPP Media for ChatGPT advertising activation. Paytm launches ChatGPT plugin to help merchants analyse payment data. September 7, 2026 Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Paytm, has launched the Paytm Payment Gateway Plugin with OpenAI's ChatGPT, allowing businesses to access and analyse payment information using natural-language prompts. Merchants can query payment activity and business trends directly within ChatGPT without switching between dashboards or reports. For founders, finance teams and business operations teams, this makes everyday payment information easier to access and interpret. A founder can ask how many payment links issued during the week have been paid, a finance team can check collections or settlement status for a specified period, while an operations team can track the status of a refund or subscription. Responses are generated from the merchant's authorised Paytm Payment Gateway information based on AI prompts entered in ChatGPT. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the integration securely connects authorised merchant payment information with ChatGPT. Developers can use this Plugin to build AI-first business and payment workflows within ChatGPT, reducing the need to create and maintain separate integrations. Access is protected through secure authentication, remains controlled by the merchant and is limited to information authorised for the integration. The current integration is read-only meaning it can only retrieve permitted payment information, but cannot initiate a payment, issue a refund or move funds. All payment execution continues within Paytm Payment Gateway and remains under the merchant's control. Paytm Payment Gateway spokesperson said, "Businesses need answers on their payments as quickly as they ask for them. This integration allows a founder, a CEO or a developer to check transactions, refunds and settlements directly inside ChatGPT, with the same security their business already trusts." The integration expands how businesses can work with Paytm Payment Gateway, from dashboards and APIs to conversational AI. It builds on Paytm Payment Gateway's existing payment infrastructure across payment links, subscriptions, refunds, settlements and business reporting, while creating a standardised foundation for businesses building AI-first payment and finance workflows.

Paytm Payment Gateway integrates with Anthropic's Claude: What businesses can do with AI prompts.

Paytm Payment Gateway integrates with Anthropic's Claude: What businesses can do with AI prompts. Paytm Payment Gateway integrated with Anthropic's Claude via Model Context Protocol, enabling merchants to use AI prompts for transaction, refund, and settlement info. By Anshul August 10, 2026, 2:39:36 PM IST (Updated) Paytm Payment Gateway has integrated with Anthropic's Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing merchants to use AI prompts to access information on transactions, refunds, settlements and other payment-related activities. The integration, announced by Paytm Payments Services Limited (PPSL), allows authorised merchants to connect their Paytm Payment Gateway accounts with Claude. Businesses can then use prompts to look up transaction details, check refund status, review settlements and access reconciliation information, among other data. MCP is a standard that allows AI applications to connect with external tools and services. In Paytm's case, it enables Claude to interact with the payment gateway's APIs, subject to merchant authentication and permissions. The move could reduce the need for businesses to switch between payment dashboards, reports and separate API calls for routine information checks. Finance and operations teams, for instance, could use conversational prompts to check collections or settlement status, while developers could incorporate payment information into AI-based workflows. Paytm said the integration provides access only through authorised permissions. Payment execution, refunds and settlements continue to be processed through the payment gateway's existing infrastructure and merchant-controlled processes. The integration comes as payment companies and businesses explore ways to connect generative AI with operational systems. Access to transaction and settlement data through AI interfaces could make routine queries easier, but also increases the importance of authentication and access controls when financial information is involved. Paytm Payments Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of One97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm.
