Responsibilities
Facilitate the full recruitment lifecycle, from posting job openings and screening candidates through onboarding new hires and J-1 interns.
Coordinate the setup and ongoing optimization of human resources systems, including applicant tracking systems, learning management systems, and human resources information systems.
Process accurate and timely payroll for multi-state employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Design and implement performance reviews using performance management systems.
Administer employee benefits and provide guidance on benefits-related questions.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and plan inclusive workplace events.
Ensure compliance with California labor laws while providing multi-state human resources support across New York, Hawaii, Guam, and Arizona.
Lead and contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Maintain accurate human resources records and data for compliance, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
Track key human resources metrics and use them to inform reports and shape human resources strategies.
Provide human resources support to employees navigating workplace challenges.
Desired Qualifications
Human resources certification is a plus.
Experience with New York and Hawaii labor laws is a plus.
Professional bilingual fluency in Korean and English is helpful for communicating with headquarters.

Qualifications:
HR Experience: 4+ years in an HR role with hands-on experience setting up, optimizing, and managing HR systems (ATS, HRIS). Proven background contributing to the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment. HR certification is a plus.
Labor Law & Compliance: Solid understanding of California labor laws with experience supporting multi-state operations. Experience with NY and HI labor laws is a plus.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in HR technology (ATS and HRIS platforms). Ability to type 55+ WPM.
Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who actively seeks opportunities to innovate, improve processes, and drive positive organizational change.
