Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a skilled production environment involving electrical wiring or assembly of industrial control panels or similar equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical assembly, including wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
  • Experience with wire termination techniques such as crimping and potentially soldering.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical activities including lifting, squatting, kneeling, bending, walking, torquing, pulling, carrying, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities
  • Perform wiring of control panels, protection systems, and medium voltage switchgear components according to engineering drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and established procedures.
  • Execute wire termination using crimping, soldering, and lugs with appropriate tools according to engineering specifications.
  • Use semi-automated equipment to cut, strip, crimp, and label wires before installation.
  • Route, bundle, fasten, and identify wires and harnesses within panels and enclosures.
  • Mount electrical components including relays, meters, controllers, programmable logic controllers, terminal blocks, and other control and protection devices.
  • Position, bolt, screw, and fasten parts, subassemblies, and components using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and switchgear assembly instructions.
  • Set up workstations to maintain product quality while minimizing scrap and rework.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality targets.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Perform ad hoc production assembly duties as requested.
