Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid/Senior-Level Front-End Developer to join our intel team to support Reporting Tool Suite Sustainment efforts. Support will focus on development and sustainment of the WEBCANDID and TESTFLIGHT tools.

WEBCANDID tracks, administers, and archives requests for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world. Efforts will include enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current WEBCANDID interface.

TESTFLIGHT, is a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. Efforts will include enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current TESTFLIGHT interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Candidates should have the following qualifications: 

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional SWE or related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years’ experience.
Shall have at least eight (8) years’ experience as a Software Engineer in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution. The individual must be able to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior programmers/analysts, as required.
Shall have at least six (6) years’ experience developing software developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript.
Shall have at least three (3) years’ experience developing software for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems.
Shall have experience on the design and development of at least one Object Oriented system.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

Java 8+
Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
GWT
Angular
Primefaces
Quarkus
Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

Proficiency with screen readers
508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
Oracle
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Agency reporting and dissemination tools
Agency classification policies
Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
