Report significant client changes to the agency office.
Responsibilities
Provide in-home care to clients who need assistance to stay or gain independence, including elderly clients and clients of any age with intellectual or physical disabilities.
Perform housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry as needed based on client needs.
Prepare meals and cook.
Shop for groceries with or for the client.
Provide transportation and run errands.
Assist with personal care and bathing.
Provide companionship.
Visit places in the community and socialize with clients.
Engage clients in activities such as games and memory books.
Coach, discuss, roleplay, and teach to support goals including social and behavioral functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, and safe boundaries.

Vibrant is searching for a compassionate caregiver who understands the importance of meeting our client's needs and allowing them to Be Home...Be Well...and Be Happy!! This job requires caring for others who need help staying or gaining independence AT THEIR OWN HOME including the elderly or clients with intellectual or physical disabilities of all ages.
Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver Essential Job Functions (differ based on client needs):
Housekeeping/Cleaning & laundry
Meal preparation & cooking
Grocery shopping for or with the client
Transportation & errands
Personal cares and bathing
Companionship
Visit places in the community/socialize
Engage in activities (games, memory books)
