Requirements
  • The candidate must be a Registered Radiological Technologist (RT or RTT).
  • The candidate must have two years of experience in the specialty area.
  • The candidate must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily activities of the assigned modality, which may include magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, ultrasound, or interventional radiology.
  • Act as a specialty-area resource for radiologists, radiology staff, and other departments.
  • Act as a liaison between the department and referring physicians’ offices.
  • Work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Lead the daily activity of computed tomography scanners in the Cancer Center Radiation Oncology department.
  • Act as a resource concerning the computed tomography process for physicians, radiation therapists, and other department staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
