At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience is required, including at least 3 years in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or finance or accounting management role.
Hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically handling job costing and operational variance analysis, is required.
Experience managing full-cycle month-end closes, external audits, and tax compliance is required.
Experience leading external audit coordination and serving as the primary liaison for financial auditors is required.
Advanced knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, general ledger management, financial reporting, and end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, is required.
Ability to develop, refine, and maintain complex job costing models using real-time and historical production data is required.

Responsibilities
Lead and direct end-to-end accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing, while supervising and mentoring the accounting team.
Design, implement, and continuously improve internal control frameworks to safeguard company assets and ensure operational integrity.
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Drive efficient and timely month-end and year-end close processes to maintain accurate financial records and reporting schedules.
Develop, refine, and maintain product cost models for manufactured parts using real-time and historical production data.
Partner with operations leadership to analyze manufacturing metrics, cost drivers, efficiencies, and production variances to support profitability.
Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and coordinate annual financial audits.
Manage and coordinate required federal, state, and local tax filings.

Desired Qualifications
A Certified Public Accountant designation is highly preferred.
