Responsibilities
Support the month-end closing process, including preparing monthly journal entries under tight deadlines.
Work comfortably with and analyze large data sets.
Analyze assigned financial accounts monthly and prepare corresponding account reconciliations.
Identify and execute process improvements for the existing month-end close process and reconciliations.
Compile, analyze, and report key business operating metrics and drivers, linking operating and financial trends and variances.
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring financial controls.
Assist in preparing analyses and reports for senior management to support business decision-making.
Participate in forecasting and business planning.
Prepare cash forecasts and liaise with banks to assist with liquidity management.
Perform ad hoc analyses and prepare presentations on financial and operational results, and support special projects.
Salary Range: 60000 to 75000 (Currency: CAD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)

Position Summary
The Analyst, Finance (FA) will join the Metergy finance team in North York, Ontario.
The FA role is a highly versatile position that provides the foundation, guidance and exposure towards a challenging and dynamic career. The FA will be responsible for various accounting functions including financial reporting, accounting transactions, reconciliations, documentation, process improvement etc. This position will interact regularly with individuals in finance, operations, external & internal audit.
Responsibilities
Support month end closing process including the preparation of monthly journal entries under tight month-end deadlines;
Ability to work comfortably and analyze large data sets;
Analyze assigned financial accounts on a monthly basis and prepare corresponding account reconciliations;

Requirements
