Requirements
  • At least 5–8 years of relevant experience; a bachelor's degree may be substituted for two years of direct experience.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery platforms such as GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Atlassian Bamboo.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and Cypress.
  • Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting.
  • Ability to read Python, JavaScript, and SQL code.
  • Knowledge of packaging tests into suites for smoke and regression test execution.
  • Experience setting up Linux and Windows test environments, executing test cases, and tracking defects.
  • Working experience with component, application, integration, and performance testing procedures and criteria.
  • Working experience defining acceptance criteria and coordinating and executing acceptance testing.
  • Working experience in requirements traceability.
  • Working experience creating and executing test plans and procedures and documenting expected and actual results.
  • Must have an active United States government Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Execute unit and component test procedures for project components, create and execute integration test procedures, execute regression tests, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, and create and execute performance tests.
  • Conduct component integration testing, including performance and throughput benchmarking, fault tolerance, interface compliance, and functional completeness.
  • Support production system break/fix and enhancement efforts through requirements review, test formulation, test scenario preparation, test execution, and test summary preparation.
  • Document and analyze test results, produce status reports, and assist with defect management.
  • Perform requirements analysis and independently create test products, test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Assist with technical artifacts including the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix, use cases, and user interface specifications.
  • Collect and report testing results to the architecture team and stakeholders regularly.
  • Monitor defects to ensure timely progression, adherence to defect-tracking standards, and adequate retesting after fixes.
  • Identify potential testing or work-product improvements.
  • Provide informal demonstrations to staff and customers in conjunction with project efforts.
  • Document and track defects and change requests, participate in Engineering Change Control processes, and capture and report defect metrics.
