Field Service Mechanic - Public Works Equipment
About the job
- Technical training at BEP, vocational baccalaureate, or BTS level, preferably in construction-equipment or agricultural-equipment maintenance.
- Initial experience in a similar position.
- Recognized technical maintenance expertise and knowledge of construction and public-works equipment.
- Maintain and repair rental equipment, including handling trucks, aerial work platforms, mini-excavators, and dumpers, primarily in the workshop and occasionally on construction sites.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, engine, and transmission failures.
- Write and update intervention reports using a dedicated phone.
- Manage and control the stock of parts kept in the service van.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, quality, and safety measures required by the group.
- Diagnose breakdowns using diagnostic tools.
- Provide workshop coverage when staff are absent or on leave.
- Travel across the Tours, Blois, Vierzon, Gien, Bourges, and Montargis areas.
- A service-oriented approach and team spirit.
