Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Account Executive based in the Janesville, WI area.

This is a remote, outside sales role — not terminal-based. Spend 4 days per week in the field calling on local customers and 1 day working from your home office. You’ll be home daily, but must have permanent residency in Milwaukee, WI or the surrounding area.

You'll inherit an existing book of business with significant room to grow it, and you'll be expected to canvass and prospect new accounts using our tools as well as your own approach.

Pay range is $70,000–$90,000/year base, plus quarterly bonus potential of up to $3,000 (up to $12,000/year), with more available for overperformers who bring in new business above target. Reps can also sell Pitt Ohio Supply Chain services for additional bonus opportunity.

Position Summary:

To develop and close new and additional business in the Dohrn Janesville, WI territory.

Responsibilities

• Profitably grow new and additional business with shippers in assigned region• Embrace and successfully sell any new service offerings by the Pitt Ohio Transportation Group• Leverage Dohrn Transfer and the Pitt Ohio Transportation Group’s service offerings to create a deeper relationship within existing customers• Qualify and follow up on leads in the assigned region• Turn in daily call forms by the end of each week• Reach out to existing accounts monthly looking for updates and addressing concerns• Collaborate with the Customer Service group to implement value added solutions for your customer base• Support all company goals and policies• Must be proficient in using Dohrn Transfer’s reporting functions• Must effectively use sales reporting tools to leverage information and effectively communicate within the organization• Must be willing to handle new administrative, research and sales tasks• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned• Need to be available for Friday monthly conference calls even if that is not a scheduled day working• React to change productively and perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Candidates must present demonstrable evidence of success relating to sales or customer service• Valid Driver License• Fluent English language skills are required to communicate effectively with customers• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and the Internet• Skillful typing• Problem solving, negotiation, and time management skills are essential

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time • May be occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects • The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc; • Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor• Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers• Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others• Weekend work may occasionally be needed in order to meet customer demands and build customer relationships• Travel will be required up to 20% of the time in order to meet customer demands and build customer relationships
