Senior Software Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly Required

- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required.
- Experience working in an offline environment and supporting legacy web applications.
- Proficiency with Java, Groovy, Grails, Python, PL/SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with data cleaning and ETL processes.
- Experience migrating data from text files, PDFs, and spreadsheets into Oracle databases.
- Experience writing PL/SQL queries for ad-hoc reports.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat, Oracle, GeoServer, and OpenLayers.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and gather and refine requirements with subject matter experts.
- Experience interfacing with web services using XML and JSON.
- Knowledge of PKI security protocols and search technologies including IBM Watson Explorer, IBM Enterprise Name Search, and Elasticsearch.
- Provide hands-on software development, design, and operational support for a legacy web application in an offline environment.
- Perform data engineering tasks, including data cleaning with Python and implementing ETL processes to migrate data into the Oracle database.
- Write PL/SQL queries for ad-hoc reports.
- Ensure the operational readiness of the application environment.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications by collaborating with subject matter experts to gather and refine requirements.
- Conduct software demonstrations to obtain feedback.
- Prepare work breakdown structures and estimate development tasks.
- Ensure application integrity and performance.
- Proactively test, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and software deficiencies.
- Interface with web services, security protocols, and search technologies.
