Requirements
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Procurement or Business Administration
  • Technical savvy: proficiency using Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel and Word) is necessary
  • Strong decision making, organizational and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles
  • Permanent US Work Authorization required
Responsibilities
  • Analyze current material flow within a process or operation to develop and implement improvements, eliminate waste, and streamline operations
  • Process weekly MRP and initiate corrective actions as needed to ensure accurate ordering standards and effective inventory control
  • Develop cost effective inventory management practices and reduce inventory through implementation of pull, VMI, or consignment programs
  • Assess delivery data status, supplier performance, parts deployment, inventory policies and/or continuous improvement efforts
  • Investigate and resolve invoicing issues to maintain positive supplier relationships, ensure future material deliveries, maintain required production levels and provide feedback to management regarding any process or system issues
