About the job
- A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, physical science, physics, network security, or computer science.
- Ten years of experience in a relevant technical field, including technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of systems specifications, systems analysis, systems architecture, systems or equipment integration, test and evaluation criteria, and logistics support of C5ISR requirements.
- Experience with network automation.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Five years of technical experience in one or more of the following areas: cyber engineering, network infrastructure, networking, server virtualization, object-oriented programming, software development, software configuration, software installation, cloud transition, and cybersecurity.
- Willingness to work in a secure lab environment.
- U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level, with Top Secret eligibility.
- Facilitate mission owner self-service by ensuring compatibility and integration with external systems and platforms.
- Modify and implement the network between Amazon and the U.S. Marine Corps.
- Evaluate and remediate potential security risks.
- Provide operations and customer support for services, including operating system maintenance, VPC configuration, Ansible, AWS, SCCA network components such as Cisco routers and F5 devices, SCCA firewall systems using Palo Alto, Active Directory identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, intrusion detection and prevention systems, Remote Desktop Gateway, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution, Host Based Security System, Windows Server Update Services, and Online Certificate Status Protocol.
- Network experience.
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Recognized industry or public service leadership in information technology services, such as federal, state, or local government service.
- Experience may be concurrent.
