At Veracity, we aim to be a different kind of insurance partner – one that is free from outside investors, venture capital, or the pressures of a corporate parent.
Ours is a culture of empowerment – one that believes in effort, results, and accountability. We believe that transparency fosters trust, trust fosters growth, and that growth drives innovation. Our commitment to rigorous evaluation and relentless execution lead to rapid evolution.
We answer only to the small business owners we serve, and this independence allows us to stay focused on what matters most: helping their businesses thrive by providing expert guidance and best-in-class insurance policies.
We’re growing fast and want you to be a part of it!
We’re seeking a hands-on and technically sharp Information Technology (IT) Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Technology Operations & Information Security, this role leads Veracity’s IT function – the people, devices, identity platform, and processes that let every employee do their job without technology getting in the way.
This is a working manager role with two connected mandates: running reliable day-to-day IT operations including helpdesk, device lifecycle, conference room technology, and onboarding and offboarding; and closing the gaps the team faces today – leading the move from a hybrid on-premises Active Directory environment to a fully cloud Microsoft Entra environment, automating the employee account lifecycle between Rippling and Entra, and building the policies, disaster recovery plans, and vendor management foundations IT needs to scale. The end goal is an IT function that is reliable, documented, secure, and does not depend on any single person.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Hire, coach, schedule, and develop the IT team – setting clear priorities and performance expectations, building runbooks, cross-training to eliminate single-person coverage gaps, and running regular 1:1s and performance reviews
Mentor team members – identify learning opportunities, provide technical guidance, and support each person’s growth
IT Operations & Support
Lead daily helpdesk operations – intake, triage, prioritization, assignment, and resolution against defined response and resolution targets – and serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive issues; keep the queue healthy with no aging tickets and no silent drops
Route system and platform issues to the Enterprise Systems team per the defined routing standard while owning the user’s experience through the handoff – and build and maintain a knowledge base and self-service resources so repeat issues get solved once
Own the full device lifecycle – procurement, imaging, deployment, maintenance, refresh, and secure disposal – across laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, phones, headsets, printers, and peripherals; maintain an accurate, auditable hardware inventory with device standardization, spare stock levels, warranties, and refresh cycles
Manage conference room and meeting technology – displays, cameras, audio, and Teams room equipment – so meetings start on time without IT in the room; support on-site network equipment and physical connectivity including switches, access points, cabling, and the wiring closet

Conduct Microsoft 365 investigations and discovery – running audits, reviewing user activity, searching Teams chats and email, recovering SharePoint and OneDrive items, and selecting the appropriate discovery tools for each request
Security, Monitoring & Resilience

Develop, document, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards and keep them current as the environment changes
