Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Maintain a Life/Health Producer license and the required FINRA securities licenses: Series 7 and Series 66, or Series 7, 63, and 65, or Series 7, 63, and 66, including all continuing education and testing requirements.
  • Possess a current, valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance.
  • Be fingerprinted and pass FINRA background checks.
  • Sign the Broker-Dealer's Registered Representative Agreement.
  • Have 2-6 years of licensed experience in securities.
  • Complete required licensing, continuing education, and testing obligations to keep licenses current.
Responsibilities
  • Provide financial planning, investment services, and member relationship management.
  • Refine financial strategies, deepen member engagement, and enhance advisory skills.
  • Assess member needs, conduct consultations, and recommend tailored investment and insurance solutions.
  • Strengthen knowledge of brokerage operations, compliance, and business development.
  • Provide the highest quality experience for internal and external members.
  • Transition to a Financial Advisor III within two years.
  • Work core hours Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with possible evening and Saturday availability based on business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Completion of an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Four to six years of licensed securities experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • Experience in member or client relationship management, financial planning, or sales within a financial institution.
  • Certified Financial Planner or Chartered Financial Consultant certification.
  • Bilingual Spanish ability.
  • Knowledge of investment products, financial planning concepts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Sales and business development experience focused on financial solutions.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and present recommendations to members or clients.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and customer relationship management systems.
