Civil Design Intern
On-site Monday through Thursday, with a shorter on-site schedule on Friday.
About the job
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Have an interest in land development and site design projects.
- Have basic knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D is preferred.
- Have clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Be willing to learn and contribute in a team-oriented setting.
- Assist in the preparation of site-development plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Support the design of water, sewer, and storm-drainage layouts and construction drawings.
- Assist with permit packages and coordination with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams on daily project tasks.
- Support modeling and drafting efforts using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist with project documentation and organization to support scope, schedule, and quality goals.
- Exposure to Civil 3D.
