CTGT provides an enterprise AI platform that helps large organizations deploy AI safely and reliably in finance, healthcare, and security. It uses a proprietary method to directly interact with a model’s internal mechanisms to locate and adjust features causing unwanted outputs in real time, reducing the need for retraining. This internal-state manipulation and governance approach enables on-device AI, real-time monitoring, and auditable risk controls, speeding up deployment by up to 500x. The goal is to make enterprise AI trustworthy and scalable for critical applications by offering precise, auditable control over model behavior and performance, differentiating CTGT from competitors that rely primarily on external data changes or retraining.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • CTGT launched Mentat in July 2026, adding an OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
  • CTGT says its 2026 work improved TruthfulQA from 21% to 70%.
  • Fortune 500 and regulated-institution deployments on CTGT access page signal revenue conversion.

What critics are saying

  • OpenAI, AWS, and Azure already sell guardrails; CTGT's differentiation compresses quickly.
  • CTGT's own benchmarks are self-reported; enterprise buyers will demand third-party validation by 2027.
  • A single bank or hospital incident triggers audits, sales freezes, and shutdown across regulated accounts.

What makes CTGT unique

  • CTGT's Mentat modifies latent features at activation time, not prompts or retraining.
  • Y Combinator cited Fortune 500 deployments with Tier-1 financial institutions by August 2026.
  • CTGT benchmarks claim 96.5% hallucination prevention and sub-10ms remediation for finance.
