Requirements
  • Three to four years of client service experience in a retail environment.
  • Three to four years of sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in a retail environment.
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • May obtain notary authorization.
  • Strong bank product knowledge and solid sales skills.
  • Ability to meet all compliance requirements imposed by federal and state law and regulation, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Suspicious Activity Reporting, lending compliance, and deposit compliance requirements.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Open accounts and perform account maintenance.
  • Run a teller drawer as deemed necessary by management.
  • Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow-up.
  • Partner with appropriate internal constituencies to bring the appropriate level of service or solution expertise to clients.
  • Ensure client follow-up calls are conducted within the proper time frame.
  • Maintain all operational and risk-management standards.
  • Assist clients with transactions within the branch, drive-through, by phone, and by email.
  • Model the way for peers and coworkers in alignment with First Financial Bank’s mission and values.
  • Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
  • Partner with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and objectives to attract, retain, and grow core client relationships and fulfill clients’ financial needs.
  • Act as clients’ personal trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships through the First Client Conversation Model.
  • Participate in and lead First Financial Bank Experience activities, including site-center huddles and meetings supporting sales and service activities.
  • Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management by collaborating with the team, district, and lines of business to help clients meet their financial needs.
  • Provide digital assistance and service to clients establishing or needing support with the bank’s online offerings.
  • Stay informed about bank products, processes, and procedures, especially the most complex ones.
  • Travel between banking centers as needed.
