One Sixth Form College is looking for a Built Environment and Engineering Technician.

West Suffolk College (As part of Eastern Education Group).

Join a dynamic technical team where your skills directly support the education and development of young people. No two days are the same, with responsibilities spanning maintenance, workshop support, equipment management, and Health and Safety across multiple curriculum areas. 

Your technical knowledge will play a key role in supporting students and staff in a busy, well-equipped environment. The role also requires adaptability to meet curriculum needs, including assisting during practical sessions, preparing materials, and maintaining equipment to ensure the highest standards of learning and safety.

You will be well-organised, reliable, and demonstrate a full appreciation of health and safety protocols. You will be required to undertake essential training including first aid, safeguarding, and fire safety. A proactive attitude and willingness to support a flexible and evolving curriculum are essential.
