Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher, as well as Adobe Acrobat and related tools and technology.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business.
  • A minimum of five years of project management experience involving daily onsite operations, policy development, and the implementation and coordination of federal programs.
  • Ability to produce thorough, accurate, appropriately documented work products that comply with established criteria and meet milestones and delivery schedules.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • All staff must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization, also referred to as an Employment Authorization, by the U.S. Government’s designated Security Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use or learn business tools and technology, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to work within the stated schedule, with workdays beginning no earlier than 6:30 a.m. and ending no later than 6:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Provide program management support onsite, including day-to-day oversight of personnel, planning, scheduling, and continuous process improvement.
  • Conduct program analysis addressing schedules and other factors that could affect successful delivery of the Foreign Gifts and Nursing Mothers Programs.
  • Implement policies, Administrative Instructions, Department of Defense Directives, and other federal regulations supporting the Pentagon, Mark Center, and other supported Office of the Secretary of Defense and Washington Headquarters Services facilities within the National Capital Region.
  • Provide liaison support for formal meetings and briefings and prepare memorandums as required or requested by the government.
  • Prepare a detailed Project Management Plan addressing programmatic and other factors that could affect successful completion and implementation of the programs.
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
