About the job
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Advanced proficiency with Linux, Red Hat, and Bash.

- Familiarity with SaltStack, Ansible, or similar configuration-management tools.
- Knowledge of chemistry or materials science.
- Experience with advanced electronic-structure codes such as VASP, Quantum ESPRESSO, Gaussian, NWChem, or Siesta.
- Experience with machine learning.

Mat3ra provides an end-to-end materials modeling platform hosted in the cloud that unifies multiple simulation tools and data to let scientists design new compounds and run physics-based and ML models in a collaborative environment. Researchers use a web-based designer to build workflows, run simulations on secure high-performance cloud computing, and analyze results with built-in analytics, supporting engines like Quantum ESPRESSO, VASP, and LAMMPS. Unlike using separate tools from different vendors, Mat3ra combines physics engines and AI/ML in one shared workspace for dispersed academic and industrial teams.
