Requirements
Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Have experience in IV infusion therapy.
Have phlebotomy experience.
Know medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical documentation practices.
Be proficient with electronic health record systems.
Have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required depending on the setting.
Responsibilities
Administer IV infusions and monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications.
Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
Assist with procedures such as catheterization, phlebotomy, and suturing as needed.
Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care.
Use electronic medical record systems to manage patient records.
Follow infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
Desired Qualifications
Have familiarity with acute pain management.
Have a background in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine.
Have experience in nursing settings such as long-term care, home health, hospice and palliative medicine, or outpatient clinics.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IV Infusion Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in providing high-quality patient care, particularly in administering IV infusions and managing complex patient needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in various nursing settings, including critical care and outpatient environments, and possess a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities

Education/Qualifications

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including those with developmental disabilities or geriatric needs.
