Amazon launches AI visual search tools with lens live and circle to search. Amazon has launched AI-powered visual search tools including Lens Live and Circle to Search, letting users shop by pointing cameras, circling items, or describing products for instant AI-generated results. Updated: 6 June 2026, 9:17 PM IST Amazon launches AI visual search tools (Img: Internet) New Delhi: Global e-commerce giant Amazon has introduced a new suite of AI-powered visual search tools aimed at making online shopping faster, more intuitive, and highly personalised. AI-Powered shift in shopping experience. The company said the update blends artificial intelligence, image recognition, and camera-based search to reduce reliance on keyword-based product discovery. Instead of typing long queries, users can now simply describe, scan, or point at items to find similar products instantly. Lens Live brings real-time recognition. A major highlight of the rollout is Lens Live, an upgraded version of Amazon's visual search system. Users can point their phone camera at any object, and the system instantly generates a carousel of matching products available on Amazon's platform. The feature allows users to compare, save, or purchase items in real time, bridging the gap between physical and online shopping. Circle to Search for precise item detection. The new Circle to Search tool enables users to highlight a specific item within an image. By drawing a circle around the object, the AI isolates it and searches for matching or similar products, eliminating the need for guesswork or keyword searches. AI-Generated shopping and style tools. Amazon has also introduced AI-generated visual previews, allowing users to type descriptions such as colour, style, or texture and receive instant product visuals. A new "Shop by Style" feature offers curated fashion themes like Urban Luxe, Soft Elegance, and Modern Minimalist, helping users discover complete looks instead of individual items. Expansion of visual search ecosystem. Additional upgrades include smarter "More Like This" recommendations, visual suggestion filters, and a dedicated Amazon Lens widget for iPhone users. The tools are currently rolling out in the United States on Android and iOS devices. Future of e-commerce. With this launch, Amazon is betting on AI-driven shopping as the next major shift in e-commerce, where users can discover products through images, gestures, and natural descriptions rather than traditional search methods. Airwallex for e-commerce | integrations with Amazon, Shopify, and PayPal. Summarize this article with Global digital merchants frequently lose substantial revenue to forced currency conversions and marketplace settlement fees. Integrating a centralized treasury platform resolves these hidden cross-border e-commerce costs. The Airwallex platform provides dedicated infrastructure to collect, hold, and deploy international revenue natively. By leveraging specific marketplace connections, digital storefronts completely bypass standard merchant account restrictions. Arnifi at Arnifi consolidate this precise financial acquisition directly into corporate onboarding workflows. This integration allows international founders to secure immediate global purchasing power and optimized payment gateways without experiencing administrative friction. Table of contents. Introduction. Scaling a digital storefront across international borders demands highly agile capital deployment mechanisms. Legacy banking structures restrict global trade through hidden exchange spreads, unpredictable intermediary charges, and delayed payout schedules. When merchants sell on multiple platforms, routing global revenue back to a single domestic account causes severe capital erosion. Deploying a modern treasury infrastructure resolves these global bottlenecks entirely. Financial controllers must evaluate precise integration mechanics to maintain vital cash flow and secure operational liquidity. This technical analysis explores specific foreign exchange protocols, marketplace settlements, and gateway capabilities. Understanding these structured parameters allows executive teams to optimize working capital and protect global purchasing power seamlessly. How to maximize Airwallex e-commerce marketplace integrations. Navigating cross-border digital sales requires absolute clarity on underlying conversion and settlement costs. Traditional institutions routinely force incoming foreign revenue into a single local currency, triggering massive exchange markups. Conversely, deploying Airwallex e-commerce marketplace integrations operates on radical treasury transparency. The platform allows commercial entities to open specialized local currency accounts across major economic regions. This mechanism ensures commercial entities access exact wholesale rates and native receiving capabilities. Through the Airwallex business account, merchants generate native banking details for major global markets. This predictable structure allows financial controllers to forecast global supply chain costs accurately without fearing sudden marketplace conversion losses. Optimizing Airwallex marketplace payment collection for Amazon and Shopify. Cost mitigation during high-volume international trade requires a predictable, multi-currency receiving structure. Evaluating the Airwallex marketplace payment collection workflows reveals a highly scalable treasury solution. When businesses generate revenue on Amazon USA or Shopify Europe, the platform accepts those exact USD or EUR payouts directly. By avoiding the standard marketplace currency conversion algorithms, merchants retain significantly more top-line revenue. Sellers link these specialized global accounts directly to their Amazon Seller Central or Shopify admin dashboards. Revenue deposits land natively in the correct currency, allowing treasuries to hold funds or convert them at the transparent 0.4 percent or 0.6 percent margin. Furthermore, entities can route those same currencies to global suppliers, creating a closed-loop financial system. Implementing Airwallex ecommerce multi-currency payment gateway integration. Beyond simply receiving marketplace payouts, independent storefronts must process global customer credit cards efficiently. Relying on legacy gateways often results in high shopping cart abandonment rates due to restricted payment options. Executing an Airwallex e-commerce multi-currency payment gateway integration allows entities to process global transactions flawlessly. The proprietary payment gateway integrates directly into digital storefronts to accept major credit cards and over 160 localized payment methods. This methodology completely eliminates standard outbound cross-border transfer friction for international buyers. Reviewing the official Airwallex pricing confirms that the gateway operates with transparent domestic and international processing fees. Treasuries accurately capture customer payments while ensuring strict alignment with the regional financial security standards. How to streamline global corporate banking via Arnifi. Forlex goes beyond lawyers and opens legal AI to the general public. The tool will be free and integrated with WhatsApp, aiming to answer everyday legal questions in plain language. 26/05/2026 15:36 Brazilian deeptech Forlex, specialized in developing AI for the legal sector, announced this Tuesday (26) the launch of LIVIA Citizen, a free legal assistant aimed at the general public and integrated with WhatsApp. The move follows a partnership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), in which the startup made its AI platform, called LIVIA, available to the entire base of 1.5 million professionals across the country enrolled in the Order. Now, the new tool was created to answer, in simple language and without legalese, citizens' questions about labor rights, INSS (National Social Security Institute), FGTS (Service Time Guarantee Fund), and even the impacts of the Tax Reform on Brazilians' daily lives. The announcement also comes less than a month after Forlex signed a $32 million agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to expand its technological infrastructure. One of the goals of the partnership was precisely to enable the advancement of the company's own artificial intelligence models developed for analyzing legal texts, contracts, court documents, and evidence. The choice of WhatsApp as the main channel was not random. Besides being widely used in Brazil, the platform, according to Forlex, expands access for people with disabilities, especially users with speech or mobility limitations, which helps make legal assistance more inclusive. In a statement, the deeptech mentioned that LIVIA Citizen works as a "gateway" to basic legal guidance, allowing anyone to clear doubts without needing technical knowledge of Law. The solution uses connections to databases of 81 Brazilian courts to provide its answers. "The tax reform should significantly increase the need for accessible legal information for the population and small businesses. Brazilians will have to deal with new rules, changes in charges, services, and consumption, but without necessarily understanding their impacts on daily life. LIVIA Citizen emerges to translate this complexity into practical and accessible language," points out Daniel Bichuetti, co-founder, co-CEO, and CTO of Forlex. It is worth noting that the platform will not analyze specific cases nor issue opinions, petitions, or procedural recommendations. According to Forlex, the proposal is that the tool functions as an initial layer of legal guidance, without replacing the work of lawyers. "Most people only seek legal guidance when the problem is already out of control. LIVIA Citizen was created to operate before that: as a layer of accessible, simple, and free information, helping citizens understand what the law says and, mainly, when they really need to seek a lawyer," adds the co-founder. Startups is part of the routine of over 30 thousand decision-makers. Are you going to miss out?
Amazon to sponsor Trunks across the Thames art trail. Trunks across the Thames will run from July 13 to September 13 (Image: Thames Hospice) A herd of elephant sculptures will parade through Windsor and Slough this summer as part of a major new art trail. The project, Trunks across the Thames, is a Wild in Art event organised by Thames Hospice and will run from July 13 to September 13, 2026, featuring 30 colourfully decorated elephants on public display. Thames Hospice has announced Amazon as the headline partner for the trail. Dr Rachael de Caux, chief executive of Thames Hospice, said: "Slough Observer is so excited to announce Amazon as a headline partner for Trunks across the Thames. "Their support reflects a shared belief in the power of community, connection and compassion." Amazon will sponsor a sculpture titled 'Keeper of Memories,' designed by artist and illustrator Sam Morris. This fairy-tale inspired elephant will be displayed in Windsor Great Park alongside four others. Carley Graham Garcia, principal of worldwide community engagement at Amazon, said: "Creativity has the power to bring people together, and that's exactly what Trunks across the Thames will do. "Slough Observer is thrilled to be a headline partner for this incredible public art installation. "Thames Hospice does extraordinary work in this community, and we're excited to help bring their mission to even more people this summer." In addition to Amazon, Iron Mountain Data Centers and several other businesses are supporting the event. The trail aims to raise funds and awareness for Thames Hospice.
Amazon's newest Fire Sticks will no longer support sideloading of apps from outside its official app store. The company updated its developer website to confirm that all future Fire TV Sticks, starting with the Fire TV Stick 4K Select released in October, will run on Vega OS, Amazon's proprietary operating system that blocks unofficial apps. The newly announced Fire TV Stick HD includes a notice stating the device prevents sideloading for "enhanced security". Vega OS only permits apps published in the Amazon Appstore, though developers can still sideload on registered devices. Amazon's shift from Fire OS, an Android fork that allowed sideloading, comes amid pressure from anti-piracy groups. The move gives Amazon greater control whilst limiting access to third-party apps, affecting users who expanded device functionality beyond Amazon's ecosystem.
