Stonhard designs, manufactures, and installs seamless floor, wall, and lining systems using epoxy, urethane, and methyl methacrylate polymers for industrial and commercial settings. Its products are poured or laid as continuous, wear-resistant surfaces that resist chemicals and are easy to clean, with installation performed directly by Stonhard so there is a single point of responsibility. The company serves sectors such as food and beverage, healthcare, manufacturing, and aviation, offering customized solutions that fit specific industry needs. Unlike competitors who outsource parts of the process, Stonhard controls the entire lifecycle—from material production to on-site installation—providing durable, long-lasting surfaces and consistent quality. The goal is to deliver high-performance polymer flooring and wall systems that ensure safe, clean, and compliant environments while simplifying project management for customers.

What believers are saying

  • Stonhard published 20 North American EPDs on June 23, 2026, strengthening bid eligibility.
  • PAVA closed June 10, 2026, expanding reach in Italy and adjacent European resin markets.
  • The Maple Shade facility won RPM's 2026 Growth Award, signaling operational momentum and execution strength.

What critics are saying

  • RPM's ownership exposes Stonhard to corporate capital allocation if flooring margins soften in 2026.
  • PAVA integration across Europe can disrupt sales, formulations, and installer productivity through 2027.
  • Specialty flooring demand concentrates in regulated plants; losing pharma or food accounts hurts fast.

What makes Stonhard unique

  • Stonhard sells and installs seamless systems end-to-end, creating single-point accountability.
  • PAVA acquisition deepens European resin formulation, decorative specialty, and cleanroom capabilities.
  • Stonkote ESD and Stonchem 691 sharpen niche leadership in static-control and chemical-resistant flooring.
