About the job

Requirements
  • A completed hotel vocational qualification or initial experience at a hotel reception.
  • Good to very good German and English skills, spoken and written.
  • A valid Class B driver's license.
  • Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Responsibilities
  • Handle check-in and check-out for national and international guests and assist them throughout their stay.
  • Listen to guest requests, provide personal advice, and ensure that concerns are followed up reliably.
  • Process reservations and walk-ins and keep bookings and guest information carefully updated.
  • Support the Welcome Agent with valet parking as needed.
  • Prepare invoices, operate the cash register, and process payments accurately.
  • Inform guests about IHG One Rewards and suitable additional services, tailoring service to each guest.
  • Coordinate closely with housekeeping, engineering, food and beverage, and other operational departments so that front-desk commitments are carried through across the hotel.

  • Experience with hotel software.
