Requirements
  • Extensive experience (12+ years) in engineering management with a focus on service observability for enterprise software.
  • Experience with implementing multiple types of observability (logs, metrics, events, telemetry) for large-scale software deployments.
  • Track record of leadership roles in large tech companies with demonstrated ability to strategically plan and execute both incremental improvements and revolutionary changes.
  • Familiarity with hybrid delivery models, delivering software to both customer-managed and cloud-hosted environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a history of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Bring and share diverse ideas and lived experiences to raise the tide for what good could look like.
  • Spearhead the creation of innovative strategies for expanding data warehouses and shifting to data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations.
  • Partner with sister teams across the company to create a cohesive story of how a product change gets into customers' hands.
  • Mentor leaders across the organization, building connections and support for the changes being driven.
