Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, demand and supply management, or operations planning.
  • Expert experience with data analysis and data modeling & SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with concepts of trade off analysis, cost to benefit, prioritization methodologies
  • Expert knowledge and experience of various public cloud providers
  • Experience with process improvement and project management
  • Basics of system architecture, databases, storage systems
  • Experience with budgeting and capacity planning experience
  • Self-disciplined and thrive in a fast-moving environment
Responsibilities
  • Work cross functionally to collect customer demand, build capacity models, and translate recommendations to capacity engineers
  • Build and maintain buffer strategy for key internal customers
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status of the capacity plan to all levels of management
  • Collaborate with program leads to build a scalable and data-driven solution for Cruise's Planning and forecasting needs
  • Work with platform owners and key customers to create a prioritization framework and rules on demand manager
