- At least 1.5 years of experience is required.
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions.
- Experience with Trauma Level II settings is required.
- Travel experience is required.
- Basic Life Support certification and NBSTSA or NCCT certification are required.
- Experience working with adults through geriatrics is required.
- Experience in cardiovascular operating room and trauma work settings is required.
- Experience with cardiac and vascular surgery cases is required.
- Knowledge of fire safety, aseptic technique, laser safety, sharp safety, specimen handling and labeling, sterilization and disinfection, and universal protocol time-out procedures is required.
- On-call availability is required.
- Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgery procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field.
- Manage specialized surgical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and nurses.
- Support patient safety and surgical efficiency.
- Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Provide call coverage two days per week and every third weekend.
- Float as needed and work weekends when needed.
- Experience with the EPIC charting system.
- Community hospital experience.
- Teaching hospital experience.
- Trauma Level I experience.
- Experience with endoscopic or laparoscopic, ear nose and throat, general, gynecological, neurological, orthopedic, plastic, and urological surgery cases.
- Experience with organ donation.
