About the job
- An Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
- Three to six years of related project implementation experience.
- Experience with advanced network design and architecture.
- Expertise installing, configuring, and troubleshooting infrastructure, including internet, firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi.
- Experience installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting VLANs.
- Expertise migrating Microsoft servers and Microsoft server applications.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hypervisors.
- Experience installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting storage area networks.
- Experience migrating, administering, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365.
- Scripting and PowerShell proficiency.
- Managed service provider experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while keeping team members and clients updated.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours when operationally required; regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical people.
- Review and respond to reported software and hardware issues.
- Test product capabilities on an ongoing basis and evaluate the product.
- Determine and report system capabilities and restrictions.
- Evaluate customer objectives and recommend alternatives and solutions.
- Retain knowledge of clients' systems, network architectures, and line-of-business applications.
- Collaborate with technical team members to support clients.
- Work with vendors to explain errors and recommend solutions.
- Improve existing programs by understanding their goals and outcomes.
- Managed service provider experience.
