The Enterprise Valuation-Statutory team is responsible for the overall process management of year-end statutory reporting and filings.

This Senior Actuarial Associate role will collaborate across functional teams to complete Statutory reporting process and act as a first line of respondent for regulatory requests to support appointed actuaries and business partners.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

Primary responsibilities include:

Collaborate across functional teams to prepare Appointed Actuary’s memoranda, actuarial opinions, and other supplements
Support preparing regulatory and board filings
Support Actuarial Oversight activities
Perform review and reconciliation of actuarial items in annual statements
Recommend and execute process improvements by leveraging tech solutions to enhance capability and efficiency
Support implementation of new regulatory requirements

What you’ll need:

2+ years of actuarial experience
Actuarial exams are required.
Understanding of actuarial / finance concepts
Experience with Statutory financial reporting is a plus.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong project management skills with attention to details

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $97,300.00 to $144,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
