Requirements
  • Prior manufacturing, production, construction, concrete, or equipment-operating experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn automated production equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift, and to work around dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to follow safety instructions and work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Operate block plant machinery and related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment performance, product quality, and production flow throughout the shift.
  • Set up, adjust, clean, and perform basic troubleshooting on machinery as needed.
  • Inspect finished block for proper size, shape, color, strength, and overall quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with changing molds, clearing jams, and performing routine preventive maintenance.
  • Communicate production concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards to supervision promptly.
  • Follow company safety policies, personal protective equipment requirements, and plant procedures.
  • Assist other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
