Requirements
  • 7-15 years of experience in a civil engineering role that includes water infrastructure projects
  • History of client relationship, panel or portfolio management
  • Civil design skills that include water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations and or storages
  • Planning skills including strategic water planning and modelling software experience
  • Experience in the development of engineering drawings and in the use of civil design software
  • Project management or project support experience
  • RPEV (Civil) registered or in process of registration.
Responsibilities
  • Client relationship management including maintaining and developing relationships with key clients
  • Coordinating resources, oversight of budgets and supervision of timelines to provide quality and timely project completion of multi-disciplinary design teams
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals and delivering presentations to clients to win work
  • Producing design drawings, reports, specifications, tender and technical documents for water infrastructure projects, including assets like pipelines, pump stations, storage facilities & other assets
  • Planning and options assessment studies such as network master plans, strategic planning (optional)
  • Site surveillance works such as inspecting works completion, and superintending services (optional)
  • Overseeing and facilitating knowledge sharing including mentoring junior team members
