- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology, or registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MR) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) only registry in lieu of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MR) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MR).
- One year of training and experience in magnetic resonance imaging.
