Requirements
  • BS/BA Degree or Equivalent
  • 5 to 8 years of successful leadership in executing continuous improvement / Lean / Six Sigma efforts
  • Lean Master or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
  • Experience guiding team progress for continuous improvement projects/programs
  • Experience designing, implementing and leading continuous improvement projects/programs
  • Thorough understanding of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, productivity and throughput improvement
  • Hands-on experience using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods (LEAN, TPM, Six Sigma, TQM)
  • Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to coach / mentor / inspire direct reports
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience with ensuring effective Change Management development and execution
Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects
  • Document and validate achieved Continuous Improvement Savings
  • Assist in designing new procedures and methods for operational processes
  • Mentor employees to realize benefits from continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and coach on Xylem Lean Foundation modules
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and prioritize improvement opportunities
  • Provide strategic insight and evaluation of the organization’s progression
  • Lead goal setting, assignment of projects, review of progress, approval, and feedback for direct reports
  • KPI goal setting with the site and leading site reporting for KPI’s
  • Own the Lean Maturity assessments and improvement initiatives for the site
  • Challenge organizational leaders to drive continuous improvements
  • Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
