Requirements
  • Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Python, C++, or related programming languages.
  • Experience developing and building systems based on deep learning and/or machine learning.
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform research to advance the science and technology of computer vision (CV) and generative AI.
  • Perform research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio, and other modalities).
  • Experimenting with CV on large-scale (multimodal/multi-application) data.
  • Improve the efficiency, scalability, and performance of CV systems
  • optimizing for real-world applications, and devise better data-driven models of image generation and text generation.
  • Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional teams, sharing research plans, progress, and findings.
  • Contribute to Meta’s CV-focused research and publish results that can impact Meta's products and services.
