Requirements

A minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of experience in Quality Engineering or related fields.
A bachelor's degree in an engineering field, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, quality, or a related science.
Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean, Ishikawa diagrams, 8D, 5S, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Six Sigma, SAP S/4HANA, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for managing teams and collaborating with other departments.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control systems.
Lead engineering projects for product improvement.
Manage staff and oversee the entire Engineering and Quality team.
Create and implement Engineering and Quality strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Identify and resolve operational gaps and risks, including quality escalations, 8D analyses, and engineering issues related to bills of materials, shop-floor controls, and documentation.
Establish and track key performance indicators to measure the success of the Engineering and Quality team.
Drive regular Kaizen, Lean, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and ISO activities.

Desired Qualifications

Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or Six Sigma certifications for quality roles.
Certifications in project management such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and certifications focused on quality systems, such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.

Job Overview:

Duties include developing and implementing quality assurance and control systems, leading engineering projects for product improvement, managing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and analyzing quality data to identify and correct issues.

Overall supervision: Oversees the entire Engineering and Quality team.
Planning and strategy: Creates and implements Engineering and Quality strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Problem-solving: Identifies and resolves operational gaps and risks, such as Quality Escalations/8D’s and Engineering issues related to BOM/Shop Floor controls/Documentation
Performance measurement: Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Engineering and Quality team.
Drive regular Kaizen/Lean/FMEA/ISO activities

Special Skills:

Kaizen/Lean, Quality such as Ishikawa diagram,8D,5s or FMEA, Knowledge of six sigma, SAP/4 Hana/ MS office applications

Competence:

Excellent leadership, organizational, strong problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for managing teams and collaborating with other departments.

Experience Requirements:

Education and Qualifications:
