Responsibilities
  • Develops architectural plans for systems integration to implement SAP S/4HANA in a complex landscape of third-party systems, legacy systems and cloud-based solutions. The architecture needs to be scalable and efficient leveraging the capabilities of S/4HANA. Should have experience in working with a variety of non-SAP applications.
  • Works closely with various teams, including business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical experts to understand current IT landscape, business requirements and needs. Should be able to advise and guide other teams involved in the implementation.
  • Ensures the overall architecture of the S/4HANA system is optimized for performance taking into consideration several in-house applications built on different platforms as well as several cloud applications connecting to SAP.
  • Evaluates new platforms for adding or replacing in portfolio considering functionality, re-usability, maintainability, cost and necessary system integrations. Identifies the industry BKM's for solution design and standards; Keeps abreast of technologies in the market.
  • Ensures the system architecture meets the organization's IT security and compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Manages integration for multiple projects and work streams including planning and delivery of solutions to meet functional business requirements ensuring adherence to schedule and quality.
  • Oversees contingent workers performing services across multiple projects or service areas. Ensures selection, on-boarding and off-boarding of contingent workers is performed in a timely manner. Ensures contingent workforce utilization is optimized and works with service providers to identify gaps and opportunities and recommends improvement plans.
