Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of proven success as a technical lead in application development is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience with Microsoft stack technologies, including .NET/.NET Core, C#, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, is required.
  • Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular version 18, and React version 16 is required.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Functions, Service Bus, and Key Vault, or equivalent technologies, is required.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and DevOps practices is required.
  • Strong experience building component-based, responsive web applications is required.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale production systems is required.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, is required.
  • Experience with transactional databases and caching strategies is required.
  • Experience with test-driven development and unit and integration testing is required.
  • Experience with public and internal APIs and integration frameworks is required.
  • Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures is required.
  • Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting production systems is required.
  • Experience with secure software development practices is required.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead and influence without authority.
  • Experience with artificial-intelligence-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or artificial-intelligence-based code quality or observability tools, is required.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and balance technical depth, operational priorities, and business priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Lead onshore and offshore engineers through the design, development, code reviews, and releases of .NET applications.
  • Translate complex business problems into technical solutions.
  • Lead large software initiatives from ideation through delivery, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
  • Guide architecture, design, and technical decision-making with emphasis on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Write well-designed, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
  • Improve adherence to coding standards, test practices, secure coding techniques, and architectural guidelines.
  • Evaluate and adopt artificial-intelligence-enabled tools and frameworks to improve engineering efficiency and solution quality.
  • Define and maintain a technically feasible roadmap with application development, project management, quality assurance, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Scope, design, and deliver solutions addressing business needs.
  • Balance feature delivery with stability and supportability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate technical and artificial-intelligence-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, focusing on production ownership, operational awareness, and engineering maturity.
  • Foster continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Champion Agile best practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery, test-driven development, and ongoing improvement of delivery and support processes.
  • Guide engineers in adopting artificial intelligence tools effectively and responsibly.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale production systems in regulated industries, preferably healthcare.
  • Exposure to artificial-intelligence- or machine-learning-enabled features such as intelligent search, recommendations, chatbots, or automation within enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with responsible artificial intelligence practices, data privacy, and secure artificial intelligence integration in enterprise environments.
