Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Science, Business, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • Three to five years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related technical role is required.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups is required.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, and prioritization, are required.
  • Understanding of product development processes, including new product introduction, product lifecycle management, engineering change management, or engineering-to-production transfer activities, is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical, operational, and business information are required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Product Manager in understanding customer applications, market trends, competitive dynamics, and business opportunities.
  • Assist in defining and managing product requirements by translating customer, application, and business needs into actionable product specifications.
  • Support product strategy and roadmap development through market research, competitive analysis, and evaluation of growth opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of product portfolio performance, including financial performance, market positioning, and competitive landscape assessments.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize customer feedback, application requirements, and market trends to support product planning and prioritization.
  • Lead assigned cross-functional development programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, resource requirements, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while communicating status and progress to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams to support product development and delivery.
  • Support new product introduction activities, product qualification efforts, and engineering-to-production transfers for successful commercialization.
  • Participate in design reviews, stage-gate reviews, risk assessments, and change management activities while driving stakeholder alignment.
  • Identify and escalate program risks, support issue resolution, and drive accountability to maintain project momentum.
  • Prepare and document technical, qualification, product performance, and business-related information to support decision-making.
  • Use data, key performance indicators, and project metrics to support product decisions, program execution, and portfolio reviews.
  • Build working relationships across functions to align priorities and drive successful outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, photonics, fiber optics, instrumentation, sensing, or other advanced technology industries.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting product development and commercialization.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, process control systems, optical sensing technologies, vacuum technologies, or temperature measurement solutions.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing development programs, product launches, or technology commercialization efforts.
  • Experience performing market research, competitive analysis, business case development, or product portfolio analysis.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment where priorities and project requirements may evolve.
  • Occasional travel to internal meetings, manufacturing sites, industry events, or customer engagements.

MKSI Q2 earnings jump 86% to $3.30 per share as revenues rise 28% to $1.25B

MKS Inc. reported second-quarter 2026 non-GAAP earnings of $3.30 per share, up 86.4% year over year, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 12.25%. Revenues rose 28.3% to $1.25 billion, surpassing consensus estimates by 3.06%. Growth was broad-based across all three end markets. Semiconductor revenues increased 28.2% to $554 million, while Electronics & Packaging revenues jumped 43.2% to $381 million. Specialty Industrial revenues rose 13.8% to $313 million. Adjusted EBITDA climbed 49.2% to $358 million, with margin expanding 390 basis points to 28.6%. Free cash flow reached $188 million, up from $136 million in the prior-year quarter. As of 30 June 2026, MKS had cash of $611 million and long-term debt of $2.54 billion.

MKS invests $25M to double China manufacturing capacity for AI semiconductor demand

MKS Inc. is investing $25 million to expand its Atotech equipment manufacturing site in Guangzhou, China, adding approximately 323,000 square feet of manufacturing and operations space.
