Position Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, working software
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment 
• Develop in C/C++ for a variety of embedded system platforms
• Collaborate with hardware engineers in development and integration of prototypes
• Represent software as a stakeholder within a multi-disciplinary team, from system formulation through design, build and test

Basic Qualifications

We need students who possess 2-3 or more of the following:

• Majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field
• Proficiency with C/C++ and/or assembly language
• Familiarity with a scripting language such as Python or Tcl and system shell languages such as Bash
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Subversion)
• Coursework or project experience with Linux, embedded operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, uC-OS, etc), and/or embedded hardware

Location

• This position will be located at First Mode’s headquarters in Seattle, WA and will be required to work in office >60% of working hours

Total Rewards

Base Salary Range: $30.00 - $40.00
